Momentum Academic Coaching was founded with the belief that every student can succeed when given the right support, structure, and encouragement. Through personalized online tutoring and academic coaching, students develop not only stronger grades, but also greater confidence, organization, and independence.

Why I Started Momentum
A few years ago, I never would have imagined myself starting a tutoring business. Even while tutoring several students, it never felt like a career path. That changed when I decided to shadow at an institutional tutoring facility. What I saw made me realize how many students were not receiving the individualized support they truly needed.
Students came after school for homework help at a ratio of five students per tutor, leaving many waiting for the support they needed.
Tutors often struggled to explain new concepts or build foundational understanding. As a shadower, I frequently found myself helping students more than the tutors did.
The students felt overlooked by the industry.
It got worse. When I learned that students were paying upwards of a thousand dollars per semester for support, I was shocked. Students were overwhelmed, stressed, and learning to manage ADHD, while the company seemed focused only on profit. It sparked momentum inside me, no pun intended. I see this company as a necessity—providing students with the professional support they need without breaking the bank.
